“Faith to Faith with Pastor Mark” is a new radio program that tackles today’s religious issues from a fresh, progressive, and affirming perspective.  Come join Pastor Mark Salvacion as he interviews religious leaders, academic theologians, and clergy of all faiths about the matters of religion that unite us, that divide us, and that frankly leave us asking “why”?  Call in to join the conversation with the leading religious thinkers of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and the world.  But mostly, come join us for the journey to understanding and enlightenment!

Reverend Mark I. Salvacion is the Pastor of Historic St. George’s United Methodist Church (HSG) in Old City Philadelphia, where he has been appointed as a licensed local pastor since July 2017.  Reverend Salvacion has also served as a practicing attorney licensed in Pennsylvania.  During his 27-year legal career, Reverend Salvacion represented such clients as PNC Bank, the Philadelphia Stock Exchange, Prudential Financial, and the Vanguard Group.  Reverend Salvacion is also a certified arbitrator with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).  Reverend Salvacion continues to represent select pro bono clients in civil rights, constitutional law, and immigration rights cases.

Reverend Salvacion received his B.A. in Philosophy from Bucknell University, his Juris Doctor degree from Northeastern University School of Law, and is pursuing his Masters of Divinity degree at Drew University Theological School.

Reverend Salvacion is the recipient of the United Methodist Initiative Scholarship (full-tuition scholarship awarded by the UMC for outstanding promise in United Methodist ministry), the Delaplaine McDaniel Fellowship (awarded by Drew Theological School for outstanding academic accomplishment and promise in ministry), the Henry G. Appenzeller Memorial Prize (awarded by Drew Theological School for outstanding achievement in United Methodist studies), and the Saatman Memorial Scholarship (awarded to United Methodist students in Philadelphia by Frankford UMC for outstanding promise in ministry.

Reverend Salvacion lives in East Falls, Philadelphia, with his wife, Frances, and their dog, Sydney.  His hobbies include playing piano for four-hands, bass clarinet, and guitar, playing golf, and studying religious history and philosophy.
