Religion-based dating apps are nothing new. JDate and Christian Mingle have been pairing like minded singles for 20 years. Even though there are various sites that cater to Jewish dating, they all offer different features and ways to connect. Some are more suited to marriage or long-term relationships, while others are for casual dating or friendships.
366 million people worldwide turn to dating apps to find love, whether it’s for a long-term relationship or something more casual. If you’re ready to get married and are looking for your beshert, a Jewish dating site could be right for you, but it can be difficult choosing the right one. Whether you’re strong in your Jewish faith or just want to make sure your partner knows the proper way to make kugel, a Jewish dating site provides a higher concentration of Jewish members in the dating pool, making it more likely to find a match that aligns with your culture, beliefs, and values. “JWed is a niche dating site dedicated exclusively to Jewish singles committed to finding their Jewish soulmates,” says co-founder Derek Saker, who met his wife on the site. “JWed requires its members to be ‘authentically Jewish’, you also need to be legally single and marriage-minded.”
Formerly Frumster.com the site was rebranded JWed to meet the need of a growing market of Jewish singles who were equally marriage-minded and equally focused on marrying someone Jewish.  Although basic membership is not free, you can still access the site’s features by signing up for a free trial.
Post Covid, JWed is averaging 8 engagements/marriages a month, from younger couples to members in their early eighties. Saker says “we even have a member in his nineties!”
Tonight on Jewish Singles Radio we get the scoop on JWed from co-founder and CEO Derek Saker. If you’re marriage minded, why not give it a try and see if it works for you? As Derek Saker says, “You’re never too old to love and want to be loved by another.”

Jewish Perspectives on the News and Politics with Burt Siegel

This program will not hold back on what the host and his guests believe is wrong with an American society in which anti-Jewish sentiments as well as racism have become too often tolerated, where cooperation across party lines is treated as treachery, where immigrants and refugees are seen as a threat to the “American Way of Life” and the gap between the ultra wealthy and the average American is ever widening. While it will reflect the values of Judaism and the Democratic party all are welcomed to share their thoughts regarding how we can achieve the dream of what our nation aspires to be about.
