Joe Dougherty and Bruce Grossinger are joined by attorneys Kaitlin Files, Esq. of Files Injury Lawyers and Derek Patterson, Esq. of Patterson Injury Lawyers

Kaitlin Files, Esq. is experienced in representing injured workers throughout all of Pennsylvania while primarily based in Philadelphia and Bucks County. She has focused solely on this area of the law since she was in law school. Since graduating law school, Kaitlin Files has been serving injured workers throughout Pennsylvania with proven success. Representing her clients with grit and grace, Kaitlin gives each new case her undivided attention whilst walking you through each step of the process. Kaitlin spent the last six years working at a high volume law firm practicing workers’ compensation. She now runs a small law office continuing to represent injured workers throughout the region.

Born and raised in Bucks County, Kaitlin has returned to the area to bring our community the expertise of a big Philly law firm while operating with the personal touch of a local firm in the practices of workers’ compensation and disability law. Kaitlin loves both the Bucks County and Philadelphia communities. She frequents local shops and restaurants, always looking for a new spot to try. She also loves to explore the robust park and trail systems throughout Philly and Bucks. If the Sixers or Eagles are playing, you can find her at the game or watching with friends and family at a local spot. And do not be surprised to hear she is in South Bend for an ND football game in the fall.

Kaitlin is also an active member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, serving as co-chair for the Diversity and Inclusion committee of the Workers’ Compensation Section. She is a member of the Bucks County Bar Association, Bristol Business Association, Philly VIP, Southeastern Pennsylvania Legal Aid, and The Wright Legacy. Kaitlin coaches a high school mock trial team in Philadelphia and would very much like to coach a local girls’ basketball team one day.

Derek M. Patterson, Esq. was born in the City of Philadelphia. He grew up in West Philadelphia where he was raised by a family who instilled in him to always be the best. Derek attended the University of Maryland Eastern Shore where he received his Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice . After excelling at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Derek decided to pursue his passion of becoming a Trial Attorney. Inspired by his grandfather, Derek always kept in his mind to be the best. Western Michigan Thomas M. Cooley Law School was Derek’s choice to pursue his Juris Doctor degree. While very challenging, Derek always reminded himself that there is no other option but to become a Trial Attorney.

Derek worked for several highly successful Plaintiff Law Firms throughout Philadelphia and gained tremendous experience as a Trial Attorney. Derek has also worked for a highly respected insurance defense firm which then gave experience representing both Plaintiffs and Defendants.

As CEO of Patterson Injury Lawyers, Derek wants to represent the injured in Philadelphia as well as the surrounding counties. Putting clients needs first and always having his clients best interest is what has made Derek and Patterson Injury Lawyers successful and remains Philly’s Favorite Personal Injury Firm.

Many patients may know Dr. Grossinger better as “Bruce the Sports Doc” through his many years covering Philadelphia teams on ESPN Radio and VoiceAmerica. Bruce is a die-hard Philly fan and long-time Eagles and Sixers season ticket-holder. He is also very family oriented, balancing his time as a doctor and radio personality with his home life as a husband and father of two.

Jewish Perspectives on the News and Politics with Burt Siegel

This program will not hold back on what the host and his guests believe is wrong with an American society in which anti-Jewish sentiments as well as racism have become too often tolerated, where cooperation across party lines is treated as treachery, where immigrants and refugees are seen as a threat to the “American Way of Life” and the gap between the ultra wealthy and the average American is ever widening. While it will reflect the values of Judaism and the Democratic party all are welcomed to share their thoughts regarding how we can achieve the dream of what our nation aspires to be about.
