Lisa Robinson is Founder and CEO of My Independence at HOME. Lisa is a Veteran of the United States Army and Philadelphia native with more than 12 years’ experience in the finance industry who has been able to apply her professionalism and skills to the home care industry. Her role affords her the opportunity to work closely with the elderly and adults with physical and intellectual developmental disabilities, particularly those in low-income communities; a demographic she feels is grossly underserved and to which she is totally committed. A stroke survivor, Robinson understands the positive impact professional, compassionate homecare can have on a person’s life and is committed to ensuring her Participants receive the care they need and deserve. Along with serving as the Founder and President of the Coalition of Minority Providers, Robinson is also a member of the Pennsylvania Provider Coalition Association and the Rehabilitation and Community Providers Services Organization where she serves as the Co-Chair of the Physical Disabilities and Aging Committee. She was recently awarded The House of Representatives Outstanding Service Citation from State Representative Stephen Kinsey and received a Certificate of Congressional Recognition by Congressman Brendan Boyle.
The Honorable Curtis Jones Jr. represents the 4th District of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania which includes Allegheny West, Belmont Village, East Falls, Manayunk, Overbrook, Overbrook Park, Roxborough, Wynnefield and sections of West Philadelphia. Councilmember Curtis Jones Jr.’s consistent and dedicated approach has earned him the trust, loyalty, and respect of both his constituents as well as his colleagues as he was unanimously elected Majority Leader on January 2, 2012 to January 4, 2016. Currently in his third term, Councilmember Curtis Jones, Jr. is the Chairman of the Committees on Public Safety, Commerce & Economic Development and Vice Chair for Parks & Recreation & Cultural Affairs.
