Robert Nicholson is Founder and Executive Director of The Philos Project. He holds a BA in Hebrew Studies from Binghamton University, and both a JD and MA in Middle Eastern history from Syracuse University. A former U.S. Marine and a 2012-13 Tikvah Fellow, Mr. Nicholson founded The Philos Project in 2014.
Matthew Mainen is a Washington Resident Fellow at the Middle East Forum. He is a graduate of Stanford Law School, and he also holds an M.A. in international conflict resolution from Tel Aviv University and a B.A. in political science from UMBC. Mr. Mainen previously worked at the Institute for Gulf Affairs, where he was a policy analyst from 2005-2019.
