Good morning and welcome back to Mark & Denise in the Mornings post Memorial Day, hope everyone had a great holiday weekend! This morning got kicked off with a heavy dose of sports starting with the NBA Playoffs as the Finals are now set and will feature the 4th straight match up between Golden State & Cleveland. Denise expressed her displeasure’s with match up and stated that she will not be watching the Finals this year. The conversation then transitioned into an announcement made last week by the NFL in reference to their new National Anthem Policy. Changing gears with our first guest of the morning Kebe Conte and organizer for #CoffeeWhileBlack of Red Bay Coffee, inspired by the events that took place at Starbucks more then a month ago, joined the show discussing his hopes and plans as well as a round table conversation to take place later today. Coming out of the gates in the 8:00 hour brought to you by POWER, we were joined by Ernest Owens for a special Tuesday edition with Ernest. Going back to the sports and NBA Playoffs discussion, Branson Wright of the Cleveland Plain Dealer came on to preview the NBA Finals which begin Thursday night in Oakland. Closing out the show this morning is Joel Wilson of JCW Computer Consulting in the weekly segment Tech Tuesdays.
