Mark and Denise in the Mornings Download

Download April 3rd, 2018

When the rooster crowed this morning to the City of Philadelphia, it crowed to another championship morning. We got started on this Tuesday morning with a break down of all the top stories including the national champion Villanova University Men’s Basketball team and the debate of weather or not there should be a parade in the City of Philadelphia. Denise was ….. shall we say ….. confident in her position. The latest on the police involved shooting in Sacramento, California. Our first guest to the phone lines was Zolani Ngwane (Professor from Haverford University) https://www.haverford.edu/users/zngwane  to talk about the passing of Winnie Mandella and her legacy to South Africa and to the world. With the 50th Anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s assassination just one day away, we spoke with Briheem Douglass (Vice President of Local 274 – UNITE HERE) https://www.uniteherephilly.org/ about actions that will be going on locally. Then we welcomed back to the show Jenice Armstrong (writer from Philly.com) as she called in from the road to talk about her road trip to Tennessee to cover MLK50.  Then finally, it’s TECH TUESDAY and we have Joel Wilson (CEO of JCW Computer Consulting) www.jcwwcc.com  TechCORE2.org  answering all of your tech questions.

Jewish Perspectives on the News and Politics with Burt Siegel

This program will not hold back on what the host and his guests believe is wrong with an American society in which anti-Jewish sentiments as well as racism have become too often tolerated, where cooperation across party lines is treated as treachery, where immigrants and refugees are seen as a threat to the “American Way of Life” and the gap between the ultra wealthy and the average American is ever widening. While it will reflect the values of Judaism and the Democratic party all are welcomed to share their thoughts regarding how we can achieve the dream of what our nation aspires to be about.
