Kicking things off this morning was Nelson Linder the President of the Austin Texas branch of the NAACP, who came on to discuss the recent bombings in Austin the last few weeks which culminated in the suspected bomber blowing himself up (NAACPAustin.org & www.facebook.com/nelson.linder). The POWER hour got started with a rousing segment with Rev. Greg Holston discussing the up coming 50th Anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s. death with a ceremony on April 4th. Kameen Thompson a Steelworkers union member got in on the conversation to discuss the new tariffs imposed by President Trump. Closing out today’s show was another candidate of the 181st District for State Representatives voicing his concern for the proposed Temple Football Stadium.
