We started early on this Monday morning with another full show ahead of us. Joining Mark & Denise on the phone was Kristina Carrera who is working with Philadelphia schools to help children to be able to see the movie Black Panther as part of the #BlackPantherChallenge . If you want to help out, here is the link for their GoFundMe Page. www.gofundme.com/helpkidsseeblackpantherphilly/donate. Next on the program was the start of our new segment Monday’s with Ernest. Ernest Owens (Writer for Philly.com) was on the phone lines talking more about the Black Panther Movie and offering insight on a story out of Darby, PA where an eleven year old was arrested after a fight on a school bus. Our POWER (https://powerinterfaith.org) brought us Yaasyin Muhammad & Stacy Hill from Philadelphia Black History Collaborative (Follow them on Facebook & Twitter via the same name) Then rounding out the show we had Director Stanley Nelson talking about his documentary “Tell them We Are Rising, The Story of Black Colleges & Universities” ( http://www.hbcurising.com)
