Endy D. Zemenides

Prior to joining HALC, Endy spent over a decade at the intersection of policy and politics. He practiced law in Chicago, specializing in municipal law and government relations. He served as Senior Advisor for Illinois State Treasurer and Democratic candidate for Senate Alexi Giannoulias. Endy serves as a Nonresident Fellow at the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, where he had previously been an Emerging Leaders Fellow. Endy’s policy experience also includes participation in the Aspen Institute’s Socrates program, service on the editorial board and board of advisors of the National Strategy Forum, and lecturing in international relations and American foreign policy in DePaul University’s political science department. Endy presently serves on the Board of Directors for College Year in Athens, and on the University of Chicago Booth School of Business’ Civic Scholars Program Advisory Committee. He received a BA from DePaul University, an MA from the University of Essex (UK), and his JD from the Georgetown University Law Center, where he was also a fellow in the Harrison Institute for Public Law and an editor of the Georgetown Journal of International Law.

Shoshana Bryen is Senior Director of the Jewish Policy Center in Washington, DC and Editor of inFOCUS Quarterly. She was previously Executive Director and Senior Director for Security Policy at JINSA. She has worked with the Strategic Studies Institute of the U.S. Army War College and the Institute for National Security Studies in Tel Aviv, and lectured at the National Defense University in Washington. Mrs. Bryen coordinated programs in the Middle East for American military professionals and a program to take the cadets and midshipmen of America’s service academies to Israel for a three-week work/study program that permitted hundreds of future officers to have a positive, in-depth experience there. She has taken Turkish and Israeli military officers to speak at the service academies and has lectured in the academies as well.

Her work has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, the New York Sun and Defense News, among other print outlets, and in DailyWire, Forbes.com,American Thinker and Gatestone Institute online.

She is a Member of the Advisory Board of the Aleethia Foundation that provides opportunities for wounded veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, and is a Member of the Board of the American Jewish International Relations Institute (AJIRI).
