On episode 11 of “The Sanjay and Jim Show”, Dr. Sanjay Madnani, Dr. Jim Brady and Joe Dougherty are joined by a special co-host Julia Brady and guests Richard Helfant, Executive Director/CEO at Lucy the Elephant and J.B. Dilsheimer, Partner at Stampone O’Brien Dilsheimer Law.
DR. SANJAY MADNANI is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, American Board of Pain Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine., Dr. Madnani is a highly trained and specialized physician providing comprehensive pain management services at Oxford Valley Pain & Spine Center since 2008.
Before coming to Pennsylvania, Dr. Madnani practiced in Mississippi and served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at LSU Medical Center. He is licensed in Pennsylvania and trained at the Havard Medical School in Acupuncture.
Dr. Madnani received his medical degree from the Marshall University School of Medicine and completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at the West Virginia University Charleston Area Medical Center. Dedicated to furthering his training, Dr. Madnani also completed a fellowship in Interventional Pain at the LSU Medical Center.
DR. JIM BRADY has treated more than 17,000 patients suffering from neck and back pain. He has been in practice for more than 30 years. Dr. Brady was the owner of the Andalusia Center for Rehabilitation, a physical therapy center, specializing in neck and back pain. He also owns the Delaware Chiropractic Group, Inc., a clinic located in Bristol, PA. Dr. Brady has received the “Teacher of the Year” award from Holy Family College and “Doctor of the Year” award from Self Help Movement Inc. for his dedication and service to his patients. Dr. Brady speak publicly on the subject of neck and back pain and prevention for numerous organizations.
RICHARD HELFANT has been CEO of Lucy the Elephant for the past 22 years. Lucy the Elephant is located along the beach in Josephine Harron Park (named for our co-founder) in Margate, New Jersey. She is six stories high and is listed on the National Park Registry of Historical Landmarks. Our park is fenced and contained, making child supervision easy. Picnic tables are also on site for eating out-of-doors.
J.B. DILSHEIMER recently joined Stampone O’Brien Dilsheimer Law as a partner and trial attorney. Before that, J.B. practiced most recently with Saltz Mongeluzzi Barrett & Bendesky. J.B. has vast experience handling complex, catastrophic injury cases in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and the District of Columbia, as well as other locations around the country.
J.B. concentrates his practice on major, catastrophic injury litigation. He has worked on the settlement and trial of several multi-million dollar cases and has a wide range of experience in cases involving traumatic brain injury, defective products, construction accidents, FELA, premises liability, medical malpractice, motor vehicle accidents, subrogation matters, and commercial litigation. J.B.’s successful verdict in a Monroe County, PA jury trial was reported by The National Law Journal as one of the “Top PA Verdicts of 2010” in the January 2010 edition of Verdict Search National. The trial involved a head-on automobile accident.
J.B. graduated magna cum laude from the Temple University Beasley School of Law in 1992. He was Managing Editor of the Temple Law Review. He graduated magna cum laude from Bowdoin College in 1988. He serves on the Board of the Philadelphia Committee to End Homelessness and does pro-bono work for the Gift of Life, which coordinates organ donation and transplantation in the tri-state area.
Outside of work, J.B. likes biking, photography, yoga, reading, writing, and surfing. Fortuitously, he met firm partner Kevin O’Brien while surfing in Costa Rica. More than anything, J.B. enjoys spending time with his wife and their two young children.
