On episode 10 of “The Sanjay and Jim Show”, Dr. Sanjay Madnani, Dr. Jim Brady and co-hosts Joe Dougherty & Marla Viturello are joined by Dr. Alyson Nerenberg of Dr. Alyson Nerenberg Psychology Associates, PC. as well as Sanjay’s wife Dr. Anju S. Madnani and his daughter.
DR. SANJAY MADNANI is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, American Board of Pain Medicine and the American Board of Internal Medicine., Dr. Madnani is a highly trained and specialized physician providing comprehensive pain management services at Oxford Valley Pain & Spine Center since 2008.
Before coming to Pennsylvania, Dr. Madnani practiced in Mississippi and served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at LSU Medical Center. He is licensed in Pennsylvania and trained at the Havard Medical School in Acupuncture.
Dr. Madnani received his medical degree from the Marshall University School of Medicine and completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at the West Virginia University Charleston Area Medical Center. Dedicated to furthering his training, Dr. Madnani also completed a fellowship in Interventional Pain at the LSU Medical Center.
DR. JIM BRADY has treated more than 17,000 patients suffering from neck and back pain. He has been in practice for more than 30 years. Dr. Brady was the owner of the Andalusia Center for Rehabilitation, a physical therapy center, specializing in neck and back pain. He also owns the Delaware Chiropractic Group, Inc., a clinic located in Bristol, PA. Dr. Brady has received the “Teacher of the Year” award from Holy Family College and “Doctor of the Year” award from Self Help Movement Inc. for his dedication and service to his patients. Dr. Brady speak publicly on the subject of neck and back pain and prevention for numerous organizations.
DR. ALYSON NERENBERG is a nationally known licensed psychologist who combines 25 years of clinical expertise and training with a warm heart. I was trained in a variety of therapy modalities which include: family systems, gestalt, cognitive behavioral and psychodynamic. I earned my doctorate in clinical psychology from Widener University in Chester, PA in 1997. After completing my doctorate I received advanced training from Masters and Johnson’s Program as well as Dr. Patrick Carnes. Additionally, I spent five years as the clinical director of the Keystone Center Extended Care Unit, a nationally known residential treatment program for healing from sexually compulsive behaviors and trauma.
For 5 years I was a board member of IITAP- The International Institute of Trauma and Addictions Professionals, where I headed the supervision committee. I have supervised hundreds of therapists and lectured nationally on various topics including: healing from trauma, addictions, post-traumatic stress and co-dependency. I have trained therapists at various addictions facilities including: The Betty Ford Clinic, The Caron Foundation and Delamo Hospital in Torrance, California. I have also been featured on television networks which include: MSNBC News, ABC, CBS, Fox, A & E, CN8, as well as many newspaper and talk shows.
Additionally, I spent 4 years leading an Emotional Eating Program at the Women’s Center of Chestnut Hill Hospital in Philadelphia, where I educated patients about developing a healthy relationship with food and their body images. I have also been an adjunct faculty member at Widener University’s Clinical Psychology Doctorate Program and have lectured at: Chestnut Hill College, Villanova University and the Philadelphia college of Textiles and Science.
DR. ANJU MADNANI is a board-certified anesthesiologist with additional certifications in anesthesia pain care, currently practicing with her husband, Dr. Sanjay Madnani, at Oxford Valley Pain & Spine Center since April 2008. Previously, Dr. Madnani practiced at Southern Pain Consultants in Mississippi and was a Clinical Assistant Professor at LSU Medical Center. She is licensed in Pennsylvania and trained at the Havard Medical School in Acupuncture.
Dr. Madnani received her medical degree from Lady Hardinge Medical College in India, before coming to the US and completing her residency training in Pediatrics at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, as well as additional training in Anesthesia at Wayne State University. Dr. Madnani also completed a fellowship in Pain Management at LSU Medical Center, for which she received the Pfizer Scholars Award.
As an active member of the medical community, Dr. Madnani is involved with several professional societies, including:

- American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians
- International Spine Injection Society
Throughout her practice experience, Dr. Madnani has attended many medical meetings to further her knowledge of pain management and anesthesia. Her work has also appeared in medical journals and presentations across the country.
