Cyber Security and Credit Card Fraud with McGruff the Crime Dog and Mark Tina of Verizon Download

00:55 Download September 12th, 2022

Back in 1980, a dog in a rumpled trench coat said, “You don’t know me yet. But you will.” Since then, McGruff the Crime Dog® has taught millions of people that the police can’t fight crime alone – crime prevention is everybody’s business and everyone can help “Take A Bite Out Of Crime®.”

Through television commercials, comic books, live appearances, and more, McGruff has encouraged Americans to take common-sense steps to reduce crime. Some of his favorite messages are:

  • To lock doors, leave the lights on when away from home, and let neighbors know when you go on vacation
  • Do things that build a sense of neighborhood and create communities that don’t produce crime and where people look out for each other and kids feel safe
  • Get involved, join Neighborhood Watch, and clean up streets and parks
  • For children and teens to protect themselves from substance abuse, bullies, and gang violence

Jewish Perspectives on the News and Politics with Burt Siegel

This program will not hold back on what the host and his guests believe is wrong with an American society in which anti-Jewish sentiments as well as racism have become too often tolerated, where cooperation across party lines is treated as treachery, where immigrants and refugees are seen as a threat to the “American Way of Life” and the gap between the ultra wealthy and the average American is ever widening. While it will reflect the values of Judaism and the Democratic party all are welcomed to share their thoughts regarding how we can achieve the dream of what our nation aspires to be about.
