Kae and Marc are thrilled to host Michael Richards, General Manager of the Kensington Community Food Co-Op, to discuss the creation of this extraordinary enterprise, the great work being done in the community, and plans for the future.

No business better exemplifies on our commercial corridor that the Kensington Community Food Co-Op, 2670 Coral Street, Philadelphia, PA 19125, whose mission is to “sustain a thriving, healthy community, a vibrant cooperative economy, an active engaged membership, and a community educated in social, economic, and food justice.” This unique, member owned organization is a wonderful example of what a ”community-grown, grocery store, café and bar” can do to educate, help and feed the people of the Kensington, Fishtown, Port Richmond and other communities.
