Morning radio hosts Mark “The AME” Tyler and Denise “The Writer” Clay have a new radio home in the Philadelphia area. Starting Monday, January 15, 2018, “Mark & Denise in the Mornings” will broadcast live from the WWDB 860 AM broadcast headquarters in Bala Cynwyd, PA, from 7:30 AM – 9:00AM, Mondays through Wednesdays. The (primarily) talk radio station is a part of the Beasley Media Group which offers a broadcast signal ten times as strong as the previous station complete with live streaming capabilities on multiple social media platforms, and more, giving the “Mark & Denise in the Mornings” a broader reach and interaction with its listeners.
Due to the high level of community interest and the generosity of listeners, family and friends the show was able to re-launch quickly as evident by the overwhelming response to their Go Fund Me campaign. So far they have raised more than $5,000 in donations and sponsorships. The first major sponsor to step up was POWER (Philadelphians Organized to Witness, Empower, and Rebuild), an interfaith movement, who will continue partnering with the show to address issues affecting the Philadelphia Community at large.
