This week on Your Valuable Home , Kevin talks about the window and siding projects underway at his beach house and the hidden problems he’s uncovered in the process. (Just proves that anybody can be surprised by hidden home improvement flaws.) We also have a very special guest, Jeffrey, a YVH listener from Seattle. Jeremy, a retired Marine Corp officer, who saw a lot of combat, is coping with PTSD (Post-traumatic stress disorder). Despite problems with his vision and balance, Jeremy just finished building a shed with help from friends and tips from Kevin Kennedy, in order to focus on something other than the depression and anxiety that PTSD causes. He also volunteers for A Hero USA – https://aherousa.com and runs a program called Highpoint Heroes for veterans in the same predicament. To date, Jeremy’s Highpoint Heros have conquered 13 high points. Next challenge: a hike up California’s Mt. Whitney. Way to go, Jeremy!
