David Oh -Republican Philadelphia Mayoral Candidate

David Oh is a former 3-term, Councilman At-Large for the City of Philadelphia. David was Chairman of Council’s Committee on Global Opportunities and Creative/Innovative Economy. He was the only veteran that served on council when he was a member and first Asian American elected to political office in Philadelphia. Prior to running for office, Oh worked for Mayor Ed Rendell’s transition team as well as on Governor Tom Ridge’s trade mission to South Korea. Oh began his career as a Philadelphia Assistant District Attorney. He was the principal of his own firm for 18 years. In 2008 he merged his firm with Zarwin Baum DeVito Kaplan Schaer Toddy, P.C

David served in the US Army as a 2LT (not SF qualified), Company C, 1st Battalion, 20th Special Forces Group (Airborne) ANG.


Oh earned his BA from Dickinson College and Juris Doctorate from Rutgers University School of Law – Camden.
