Frank N. Ciprero graduated from Dickinson College in 1995 with a B.A. in Anthropology. In 1998, he earned a law degree from The Dickinson School of Law of The Pennsylvania State University. He served as a legal intern for the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General in the Medicaid Fraud Control Division. He then became a Senior Associate with a mid-sized defense firm handling Workers’ Compensation and general liability defense litigation in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. With over five years of experience in Workers’ Compensation, he then joined a leading regional firm, where he focused his practice exclusively on Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Law.
In June 2010, he joined Pond Lehocky, where he continues to focus his practice on Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Law and protecting the rights of injured workers as a Partner.
Mr. Ciprero has been admitted to practice law in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He now specializes exclusively in Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Law, and is certified as a specialist in the practice of Workers’ Compensation Law by the Pennsylvania Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Law Section as authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. He is very active in the community as a member of the Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, and Montgomery County Bar Associations. He is a member of both the Pennsylvania Association for Justice and the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association. He has been a guest lecturer at Villanova University School of Law in the area of Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Law.
Jeff Krawitz is a Shareholder and member of Stark & Stark’s Accident & Personal Injury Group.
Mr. Krawitz concentrates his practice in casualty litigation focusing on complex injury matters, coverage issues and bad faith claims. This practice is highly concentrated on professional liability claims with a specific focus on medical negligence. He also has, and continues to, litigate claims arising from motor vehicle and commercial transportation accidents, many of which involve catastrophic damages.
In addition, Mr. Krawitz has extensive experience in both state and federal courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, has argued cases in the New Jersey Appellate Division and Delaware Supreme Court on transportation coverage issues.
Mr. Krawitz, through appointment by the President Judge of the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas, serves as a Judge Pro Tem to assist the Court in resolving various forms of civil litigation involving personal injury. In 2013, he was appointed to sit as a Hearing Committee Member of the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and continues to serve after re-appointment as a Senior Hearing Member. He is also an appointed member of the Medical Malpractice Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the New Jersey Supreme Court District VII Ethics Committee.
Mr. Krawitz is an active participant for Simon’s Heart, a non-profit organization whose mission, through various strategic initiatives, raises awareness of heart conditions that lead to sudden cardiac arrest and death in children and young athletes and promotes prevention through new laws regarding mandatory heart screenings. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board and sits on its Executive Committee. He has served as a Board Member for the Family Lives On Foundation whose mission was to support the lifelong emotional well-being of children whose mother or father died.
