An overview of the holiday activities planned for the city, from the Philadelphia Marathon Weekend, through the annual 6ABC Thanksgiving Day Parade, the annual holiday tree lighting and Holiday village, to the Rothman River Rink, the beer gardens, Boathouse Row’s menorah and Kwanza celebrations, Franklin Square’s Electrical Spectacle and neighborhood events, through New Year’s fireworks and the 118 Mummers day Parade. We also recapped the city’s summer activities with an appreciation of the livability of the city with its diversity, growing millennial population and infrastructure improvements, and the importance of these to residents, tourists and business planners.
