After a little extended break, we are back at it here on Mark & Denise in the Mornings. Mark was out of town today so we had Bishop Dwayne Royster on the phone lines Co-Hosting with Denise. The first hour we broke down all the latest headlines of the area including talk about recent rulings by DA Larry Krasner on a plea bargain pertaining to a murder of a Philadelphia Police Officer. DA Krasner will be on the show tomorrow. As well we talked a little World Cup and how the tournament will soon be coming to North America and what potential impact it could have to the area similar to that of North Philadelphia with the attempts of building a stadium for Temple University. The 8 o’clock hour, sponsored by POWER, brought to the phone lines Mr. Tim Stevens (Chairman & CEO of the Black Political Empowerment Project) to talk about a police involved shooting in East Pittsburgh. Then on a special edition of Monday’s with Ernest – Ernest Owens was with us bring us up to date on all things Ernest. The final segment, what else, it’s Tuesday and that means Joel Wilson is here for Tech Tuesday. Joining Joel on the phone was Ms. Dasha Jenifer talking about a workshop coming up over the summer on computer programming.
