As the rooster crowed early in the morning, we started off with Pennsylvania State Senator Art Haywood (www.senatorhaywood.com) was on the phone talking about the latest in the proposed redistricting of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The second hour of the program, sponsored by POWER, welcomed to the phone lines Reverend Gregory Holston (Executive Director of POWER  powerinterfaith.org ) continued the conversation of Gerrymandering & discussed the upcoming election for PA 1st District seat that will be open in the fall. Today’s show was rounded out with a discussion on the Orangeburg massacre that occurred on February 8th, 1968 on the campus of South Carolina State University.
