Mark & Denise in the Mornings Download

Download February 27th, 2018

A big show today as Mark & Denise started the show with bringing you up to speed on all the latest Top Stories of the day including a story on where George Washington ACTUALLY got his “wooden” teeth from. The highlight of the first hour was a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT about the show expanding. The POWER hour started with Jerry Jordan, President of Philadelphia Federation of Teachers (https://pft.org) talking about the mention of the possibility of “arming” our teachers.  Continuing the conversation on the proposed Temple Football Stadium, we welcomed Gail Looney to the phone lines part of the Stadium Stompers movement (https://www.facebook.com/StadiumStompersPhilly) and the protest coming up on Thursday night March 1, 2018.  We rounded out this day with Erika Almiron from Juntos (http://vamosjuntos.org) to talk about the Dreamers and the Supreme Courts non-decision in regards to the DACA program.
