Marc and Kae are pleased to be joined by Ben Fileccia, Director of Operations and Strategy, Philadelphia Region, of the Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Association (PRLA). PRLA strives to promote, protect and improve the hospitality and tourism industries in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. By doing so, PRLA is able to convey a unified voice for the hospitality and tourism industries, both of which significantly contribute to the economic growth of our commercial corridor, the City of Philadelphia and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Ben and the PRLA have been essential partners in our advocacy efforts for regulations and rules to help our restaurants, taverns and hotels get through the hardships of the pandemic and we continue our push to common sense legislation to help our businesses reopen and thrive. We look forward to a lively dialogue with Ben about PRLA’s work during the COVID-19 shutdown, it’s role in the transition towards reopening, and the challenges this industry still faces moving forward.
