Behnam Ben Taleblu is a senior fellow at FDD where he focuses on Iranian security and political issues. Behnam previously served as a research fellow and senior Iran analyst at FDD. Prior to his time at FDD, Behnam worked on non-proliferation issues at an arms control think-tank in Washington. Leveraging his subject-matter expertise and native Farsi skills, Behnam has closely tracked a wide range of Iran-related topics including: nuclear non-proliferation, ballistic missiles, sanctions, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the foreign and security policy of the Islamic Republic, and internal Iranian politics.

Shahram Ahmadi Nasab Emran
Shahram Ahmadi Nasab Emran is a medical doctor with a background in Iranian and Middle East studies. He has published numerous articles on Iran affairs and the U.S. Iran policy in major American media, including The Hill, the Washington Times, and the Daily Caller. In addition, his comments on Iran affairs are frequently published in Persian media. He has also contributed to the Policy Studies Organization’s annual Middle East Dialogue conferences since 2016. In 2017, he served as a member of the panel of Iran experts briefing the Congress of the United States on “Iran regime’s threats and human rights violations: Policy options”. He is currently finishing his PhD in bioethics at Saint Louis University.
