This week on Food Farms & Chefs we have the esteemed pleasure to introduce you to Chef Pamela Horowitz who hails from Long Island, New York. Chef Horowitz came to Philadelphia to be the Executive Chef at University of Pennsylvania’s Museum of Archaeology where she took the culinary world by storm in her re-creation of the King Midas Burial Feast which was made into a National Geographic special. Today she, along with her husband Michael Yatvin, run two incredible culinary brands; one called Provence Catering, located in the tri-state area, and the second is Elmwood Gardens in Palastine,Texas.
Then we will hear from Marie Edwards, who is the Associate Publisher of Main Line Today. Marie joins us to talk about the inaugural Main Line Today Restaurant Week beginning August 23rd which will run for 14 days, some of the participating restaurants, and how you can enjoy an exquisite meal while supporting the community you love.
Finally, we hope to build up the anticipation for you as we hear from our last guest, Chef Nate Pennachiett. Chef Pennachiett is the Culinary Mastermind behind the recently broadcast “The Field of Dreams Game” and other events like the NBA Allstar Game, and the Superbowl. You’ll hear his first-hand experience from the Field of Dreams, which I’m sure will make this week’s episode feel like a homerun!
