He and his team at “A Taste of History,” which can be seen on PBS, Twitch TV, and Amazon Prime, are set to bring you bigger, better, and more delicious episodes with season 11 in the works! We are being graced by the 15-emmy winning and James Beard nominated Chef as he joins us in-studio to talk about how he got started, what inspired him to provide a way for individuals and areas that would otherwise lack the exposure to a more extensive cuisine selections, and talking about some of his own life’s culinary experiences. Then we hear from another famous Chef and business owner, Geno Vento, who owns the iconic Geno’s Steaks in South Philadelphia. Geno, who’s namesake business was started in 1966 by his father Joey Vento, brings us smiles and fills our bellies with his delicious cheese-forward specialty. Not only does his name illicite food-envy around the globe, he brings joy to so many others with his philanthropic endeavors as well. Geno gives back to the community in so many ways, including helping all of us shake off a year of solitude by hosting, providing, and making the world’s largest cheesesteak during Philadelphia’s first large event and celebration since re-opening. And soon enough we will be able to celebrate with a Geno’s Cheesesteak as he announces his new franchise on our show!
