Ellen Yin is also an author, having written, “Forklore: Recipes and Tales from an American Bistro,” and has been a nominee as “Outstanding Restaurateur” for the James Beard Award more than once.  Yin has also played in integral role for fellow restaurateurs, being a voice and leader to help aide in the survival and recovery of businesses during the pandemic, as well as paving the way for female chef-owned restaurants and businesses.  You can hear all about her journey, and everything she has done to offer support to the industry in the beginning of this week’s show.
