00:55 Download September 7th, 2021

We are celebrating Labor Day this year with none other than Ray Sheehan who is an award-winning BBQ sauce-maker, author, and Chef.  Ray is a friend of the show, and we are excited to have him back on to give us some tips on how to make a tasty impression with your next BBQ, and to tell us about his new book (which you can pre-order on Amazon) “Big Green Basics from a Master Barbecuer” which of course would go well with his first book, “Award-Winning  BBQ Sauces and How to Use them: The Secret Ingredients to Next-Level Smoking.”
Then we round-up our Labor Day episode with Jack Algiere who is Stone Barns Center’s Farm Director in the Hudson Valley. They are inspiring farmers, conservationists and Chefs by bringing them together hands on.  This is truly a must stop day if your traveling in the Hudson Valley. Listen to learn about the Chef in Residence Program, Farming Fellowships and all their great programs.

Jewish Perspectives on the News and Politics with Burt Siegel

This program will not hold back on what the host and his guests believe is wrong with an American society in which anti-Jewish sentiments as well as racism have become too often tolerated, where cooperation across party lines is treated as treachery, where immigrants and refugees are seen as a threat to the “American Way of Life” and the gap between the ultra wealthy and the average American is ever widening. While it will reflect the values of Judaism and the Democratic party all are welcomed to share their thoughts regarding how we can achieve the dream of what our nation aspires to be about.
