We’re back on the air for Show Number Ninety-Six (#96). Our Guest today is Philadelphia born Steve Sacks, renowned TV cameraman on Channel 6 WPVI-TV. Steve will share with us behind-the-scenes stories of the many celebrities he met during his forty year plus+ (1961!!!) years as a Channel 6 Television Cameraman. Steve comes from Recording-industry Royalty. His father Lester worked at Barton Music Publishing in NYC! At one time, his father Lester managed Eddie Fisher and his Uncle Manie was a NYC recording industry VP and headed the A&R Department at Columbia Records. Steve is also a Board member of the prestigious Broadcast Pioneers of Philadelphia, where I am also a member for many years! Steve served our country in the US Army Reserve earning the rank of Spec.-5. Steve welcome to my show and creation where I play great R&R music and honor our veterans.
