We’re back on the air for Show Number Seventy Three {#73}. >>>Our show today features the remarkable song “Short Shorts,” written by Our Guest Today: TOM AUSTIN. Tom Austin and Bob Gaudio, who later went on to writing and singing fame with the Four Lovers (The Four Seasons); co-wrote this marvelous cute song (novelty-rocker) >>>Whistle and All!!! It’s probably the first Rock N’ Roll record I ever purchased. I was 16 years old, in 10th grade at Philadelphia’s Edison High School, which sadly boasts the largest death-toll of Vietnam Veterans of any high-school in America: Edison64. We will soon feature this school on Rock N’ Roll Reveille with its tragic loss of Vietnam Veterans.
