We’re back on the air for Show Number Forty-Five (#45). Our Guest today is a Philadelphian and dear friend of mine and Billy Carlucci’s, since the early 1960’s: JOHNNY MADARA! Johnny Madara = famed and legendary singer, musician, songwriter, record-producer, and entertainer. The opening songs you heard were produced and written by Johnny Madara and David White of Philly’s Classic-rock-artists: Danny and The Juniors. Johnny worked out of the Schubert Bldg. on Broad Street, writing HIT SONGS, discovering new groups and artists like Leon Huff. He began from humble roots growing up in the projects of Philadelphia.
