My guest today at Alive Radio show is my friend, the talented singer ZEEK BURSE. He captivates global audiences with his music, compelling listeners to rediscover the essence of music. Zeek, a Singer, Songwriter, Producer, and multi-genre artist, embraces authenticity and transcends musical boundaries, having performed in Milan, Paris, London, and prominent festivals.

Recipient of two prestigious Black Music City grants, Zeek created a 3-part multimedia project, “Soul Sista” (REiMAGINED), that I was honored to be part of it. And a short film, “Forbidden Fruit,” paying homage to Philly’s R&B legacy. These collaborations with Philadelphia radio stations and REC Philly showcased Zeek’s commitment to honoring women of color and exploring classic 70’s Soul Music.

Selected by LIFEWTR for their Life Unseen Project curated by Issa Rae, Zeek contributed an original song and music video titled “Missing Files.” Currently an artist in residence at various venues, including the iconic Four Seasons Hotel, Zeek continues to enrich the musical landscape with his artistry.
