NKA is a full service film and media production company operating out of Philadelphia, PA Established in 2015.
Nazir Alston is a 22 year old multi-award-winning Director and Producer. He first became known for creating the groundbreaking award-winning documentary “Incomplete Cell” about sickle cell anemia. Nazir earned the “Young Genius” title by the University of Pennsylvania. He is self-taught; with the addition of four years of TV broadcast classes and being mentored by filmmaker Delmar Washington. Delmar is a Philadelphia native a graduate of Penn State and earn his Masters in Film at USC Film School. Nasir later earned the opportunity to work with nationally established brands across the country.
Robert “Hershey” Alston – COO/Producer/Director – NKA Creations LLC
Hershey is a filmmaker from Philadelphia, PA. His introduction to the film industry started with the first project he produced, “Incomplete Cell” in 2015. He is highly respected in the Philadelphia film community. Hershey attended Penn State University transferred to Temple University graduating with a major in Criminal Justice.
Their latest project District Greenwood: The Amalgamated People tells the story of the Tulsa, Oklahoma race massacre that occurred May 31-June 1, 1921 and of the successful Black entrepreneurs of “Black Wall Street” who persevered during a time of segregation. The documentary speaks to how African Americans at one point had their own economy.
