Joseph Mancini, Executive Director of The Arc of Philadelphia, described their work toward inclusion for children and adults with disabilities. We discussed the different types of ‘disability’ – from birth through accident or illness, intellectual or physical, and how these can limit a person’s opportunities economically and socially. He described the Arc, part of SpArc Philadelphia, as an advocate for all in housing, work, education and participation.
